I decided to go back to the big hoss for a change

I was at a local gunshop today when I spotted a revolver that has always peaked my interest. It was a New Model Vaquero in .45 Colt with the 7 1/2 inch barrel in blued finish and in like new condition. I had always wanted one of these to try on whitetails and I figure with the right cast bullet. So i put a deposit on it and now I have something to strive for.

HI David: I see nothing wrong with that although I personally like adjustable sights on my guns. My little Scout 22 has fixed sights and I have loads of fun plinking with it but every brand of ammo shoots a bit different, hence adjustable sights would be better. Just my opinion, hope you have some fun with that 45. Chris
