Ever since I hurt my left arm late last year I have pretty much relegated to shooting one handed with everything. This is no exception with my .38-44 Outdoorsman. I took it out the other day and shot some of my handloads, the old 170 grain #358429 SWC with 12.5 grains of 2400. I shot it from the bench at 20 yards one handed.

Nice.

David, better than I can do two handed.  What kind of grips? Chris

Those are Ahrends Maple

Those are Ahrends Maple grips, basically a similar profile to Smith's own grips but slightly better, and alot cheaper.

Maple

I love maple, I especially like birds eye maple which is like spalted maple. I had some but they cracked after 20 years of service and I haven't found any more to make a new set. Yours look great. The gun is neat also. Chris
