After reading John Taffin's articles about Freedom Arms revolvers for more than half my life I finally took the plunge and got this 83 Premier Grade in 475 Linebaugh, with an auxiliary cylinder in 480 Ruger. I haven't even told my wife yet. I'm a little scared to try. Anyway, I can't afford a bunch of different molds right off the bat and was hoping to get just one good one for now, one that will work well for both .480 and .475. I use both Unique and Universal and am planning on staying within the 900-1200fps range max. I'm not looking to hunt elephant. This will be for elk, black bear and to carry on trips to Montana and Wyoming.
I'd also like to hear your opinions on what die sets and crimp dies. Thanks so much in advance.

Welcome Brandon

I'm sure someone will come along with some good tips. I have a early gen 83 in .454, should handle the loads your looking for with ease and comfort.
