Thanks!

Hello All,  Loooooong time lurker and finally signed up.  Live in middle Tennessee, just south of the TN/KY border.  Used to be an adopted Texican, but my job has brought me here to God's country and as my wife tells me, "the next time I move. it's going to be in a pine box!" Avid revolver man and truly blessed with a woman who shoots her own .44, loves archery, gourmet cook, and helping me lead my daughters down the same path.  Look forward to chatting with all of you!

Welcome, Rhino52

Where south of the state line are you located?  I live in Columbia but am in the process of opening up an "old school" retail gun shop in Lebanon...  - Mike

Mike, I live near

Mike, I live near Goodlettsville...good to hear about your new shop. Make sure to post when you open your doors, I'll definitely make the drive.  We have a good gun store here, good as in selection, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Good deal...

Rhino52...  I'll look forward to seeing you there.  This shop (I've gone into detail on another thread here at Sixguns) is going to be an "old school" shop that is very "customer-centric" and "knowledge-based".  I'm basically creating a place similar to the concept of the old general store or the gun shops you found around here 50-60 years ago: come in, catch up on the latest happenings, sit down at the big 6 foot oak table and eat lunch if you want while reading a book by Keith, Taffin, Ayoob, etc. from the library , or join in the general conversation whereby we intend to either a) solve all of the worlds problems or b) take over the world.  Along with a broad selection of firearms (and the ability to manufacture them - we went with the manufactureres licensing) I"ll be doing custom leather, and my gunsmith (well known Mid-Tenn area) will be doing the repairs. - Mike
