I often go back and reread old posts because my short term memory is like my long term memory.  Both need refreshing often!!!! Chris S

I like the slow pace of this forum. I dont have an Iphone or a lot of gadgets, and I bet a lot of other members dont either. Too many people in our country today are too plugged into gadgets. Even if I only post once in a while, I still feel welcome.  

I too don't post a lot but I do like to read them all. It is amazing the info you can get from such a diverse crowd of people who have been there and done that before. Chris S

See, now that I'm here, I'm posting just to keep this thing going. Exactly 1 year and 5 months later. (you'll never guess how many times I double checked my month and year counting, couldn't take the heat if I was wrong).

Mighty strong words from a one-eyed physicist. I don't have any iThings. I figure the rest of the world will kill themselves walking into street lamps while they do inane texting. My broker asked me the other day if I had an iPhone so I could send a form to him. I told him, "one more time and you'll find out why my wallet has Bad Mother F***** embossed on it.
I have been pondering the past few days the frequent references to SHTF in the firearm forums. You know, most city people are basically weak and helpless because they know almost nothing outside of law (lying), accounting (lying), dentistry, etc. They can' start a fire or build a warm shelter. Somebody has to do it for them. Too bad.

Oh man, I saw a woman walking across a busy intersection today, she was texting and never looked up. I was sure she was going to get hit. Then I thought I may had been on Candid Camera as it was so weird.
