I was just re-reading some of Elmer's articles about double guns and I was reminded of a friend's double rifle. He had acquired an Italian import, I forget the brand, but it was a sweet looking little 9.3 X 74R that was just about a twin to a 410 double shotgun. The only bad thing about it was that very thing that made it so neat looking, it only weighed around six pounds. We took it to the range and when my friend, who was stout, fired a couple of rounds he looked at me with a very sad expression on his face. I shouldered the little cannon and touched off a round and felt a sharp bite in my cheek where it hugged the stock. Next round was fired with a little more trepidation and a little less cheek on the stock. That wasn't too bad but it wasn't much fun. My friend later sold it. Chris

22 Hornet DBBL rifle

You need what I saw the other day, a DBBL rifle in .22 hornet. Not much recoil there! Need to contact the manufacture of this gun and see if I can name them in a post. But it sure was neat.

Doubles

A hornet would be sweet. Another one would be the 45-70. I know there are one or two being made, or at least were made, like the Kodiak. I just never got around to getting one. I also remember Browning made some Superposed O/U 30-06 and other calibers back in the late 80's or early 90's. Chris
