This softback is new condition, donated by Chris, plus you will get a set of Elmer Keith Tanzania Safari Recording on CD
Let's make this an auction
Thanks to Legendary Photographer Bob D'Olivo, and our own equally legendary Gunsmith, We have audio CD's of the Grand Old Man himself, recorded by Mr. D'olivo in Tanzania during a safari in 1969. Start out in the jeep, quietly hunting Lion and Jaguar, and then, as is the case in most camps, when the hunt is over, the stories begin.
As is all items offered up for donation, the profits go to the NRA's Legal Defense Fund in Mr. Keith’s name.
Bidding is open
is also running on our sixguns.com site so check there for current bids as well.

Step up boys! I can't believe no one wants a chance at this. Chris S
Has anyone bid. Is there an opening bid?
Has anyone bid. Is there an opening bid?
Nope! Bid here.
Thanks--
Al
Ain't been here in a while, I also can't believe that there haven't been any bids on this! Is this auction still open?
For those of you that think you "know" sixguns, this book has more info than you can shake a stick at. I also feel that this book can make you a better shot. There are so many subjects covered in it that your actually getting several books in one. My bid isn't meant to insult the donor or the forum but I want to get this going.. I'll start the bidding at 50.00. That's US Dollars, peeps, not De Nero's.
Hello, EMK, a very generous bid. Good to hear from you again.
Al
Hi Al, It has been a while. I even posted a question about the Takedown Ruger 10/22, thought fer sher I'd hear from Gunsmith. Has he headed south for the winter?
...has internet connection problems most of the time, but I'll give you his phone number if you want to bug him. He did do a hell of a job on my Smith, I've been beating up on the bottom feeders with it at the weekly speed steel match.
Wish I could get more work making good Smiths for customers. I am glad the Smith is shooting well. I would like to see a group at 100 yards with it. It shot a 2 inch group at 100 for me, and that was with Federal 180 grain magnums. (Classic). I was given several boxes many years ago. It always shoots well.
sorry
Don't really have a place to put it on paper at 100 yards. Speed steel at 12 yards, or steel at 150 yards it's a shooter...What about your opinion of the 10/22 takedown?
no info on it. Take downs traditionally do not shoot as well as solid guns, but my experience is somewhat dated.
Haven't seen you for a while, EMK was asking about you also. Wants to know what you been up to. ChrisS
Isn't an auction an event where several people bid? Can we repost this and get some more attention and maybe some more money?
