Could not help but notice that the small wheelgun offerings are getting decidedly more interesting. Specifically, we have two new .40 S&W snub nose 5 guns hitting the market. The first is the Charter Arms, with an innovative extractor design. Go to Gunblast and read Mr. Quinn's review. The second is from Taurus, which uses traditional moon clips.
Moon clips have advantages for fast ejection and reloads, but they absolutely are at the back of the line concerning the ease of getting the spent empties out-and the fresh cartridges in. If I had a buck for every moon clip wrecked in this operation, I would not have to worry about money again!
I admit to being somewhat rabidly pro-American, but even so, I think the Charter is the better gun. Still, two pretty exciting new offerings. I hope they get around to the .45 ACP very soon.
