I don't know if this will interest anyone but I thought I would post the link just in case. I don't have any dog in the fight but thought it was interesting. Chris S

Lube

Chris;
I have been a cleaning and lube junky since I was a teeny bopper. Presently, I lean toward MPRO7 gun oil. I got some when I spotted it at Sportsmans warehouse a few months ago. When I worked at Big Bear in Montana, the MPRO7 team came through and demo'd their stuff. I was impressed and have been using the bore cleaner. However, my first use of their gun oil was on the sedurity doors of the house. As you know by now, the environment here is very close to the ninth pit of Hell; wet, humid, gritty, and buggy. The doors stopped latching when they closed, and needed a secondary poke to close properly. I got out the MPRO7 and wiped some on the bolts, front and back. A year later, they still work slick as number nine owl s.... So I started usuing it on guns. It doesn't gum up, and it doesn't seem to attract grit and grime.

So, there.

Don't worry. Be happy.

No Problem

Like I said I have my own preference and it's Mobil 1 Synthetic but I thought the guy did a decent job testing a lot of stuff. No need to quit using what you like and what works for you. I sure ain't changing my choices either after all these years. Chris S
