Independence Day 2013

We went to Doc Denman's Duck Club here in Mudhole, MS and took the cannon. It's always a crowd pleaser. I love to watch the crowd during the first shot. Last year, at Ole Miss, a woman who wasn't ready for it wet her pants and ran for her truck.

This is Doc and my Honey Bee. The cannon is a Union 3 pounder resurrected from the Chattahoochee River in 1976 by an archeologist friend. He gave it to me when he retired. Doc had a new caisson made. And, I don't load it with 2400, MAK. The new formula is too strong.
