A Salute To All Veterans

I was a nuclear missile commander in the '60's. Never got to try one out. I remember when Good Morning America send a girl reporter to interview some of us. She asked a friend of mine did he ever think that if he turned keys he would kill millions of people he never saw. He answered, "I hate that. I would miss the close personal contact of hand to hand combat."

I loved my time, too. I have always craved 
to see new places, and I certainly had that opportunity in the Air Force. I got to go places that most people will never know existed since most of them are gone now. Even got to go toe to toe with a Russkie sub.
