Well I made it, got through the vetting and security processes without a scratch. My
purpose for joining this group was to further my knowledge on the subject of Colt Single Action Army's
particularly First Generation antiques.
I am the proud own of an 1882 Colt Cavalry US 7.5" revolver ( David F. Clark inspected ) which is right as rain !
Will share pictures ( as soon as I learn how and the appropriate forum) if anyone is interested.
Thanks again,

MY 7-1/2' cavalry

dates to 1881. Also have 4-3/4" First Gens in .32-20,.38-40, .44-40, and .45 Colt plus  Bisleys  .45 and .38-40.  Grand Old Guns. Just got a "newr" one--1921, converted to 5-1/2" .357 after 1935 then King Gun Sight took over. Full target rib with adjustable rear sight, cockeyed hammer, wide checkered trigger, short action.

Your guns

Are any of yours martially marked. I am hoping someone here can help me with tracking my SAA. My belief is that it was sent to the N.Y. Militia in 1883, as it is bracketed by known revolvers sent to them by the Army......according to Kopec. Thats it in my picture. Will put up a whole set when I have time, gotta get to my weekly Poker game !
Best regards,
Jim
