On Target!

Hi all viewers: At the risk of being laughed at for being such a poor shot I thought I would post a pic of some shooting I did a while back. I was using my Ruger Super Blackhawk with open sights and 44 Special Cowboy loads, shooting offhand at 40 yards. The target is a pizza plate and if you look close there are 12 shots although two are almost off the plate. I could make excuses (yes I was aiming at the black diamond) but I was actually quite happy that I did that well because I had never used those loads before. Anyway, just for fun, we can't always take ourselves so seriously. Chris

My Target Stand

I can only get about 40 yds max maybe closer to 35 yds since I sit closer but that's as far as I can see to shoot anyway so this is fine. Chris

You're Right!

Good Eye Al: Yes, that was my target stand and the large white target really stands out. I was having trouble seeing the brown pizza plates so we tried a white one, larger too for these poor shooters! It's close to deer season so I haven't shot at it lately, being nice to the hunters who may be in the area. Once things die down a bit I'll give it atry with the Colt NF 45 and see how I do. Chris
