I recently got an electric toothbrush from my daughter. Got me to thinking that the vibrating or rotating head might make a great polisher for small parts that need a little tender burnishing without too much metal removal, anybody tried that? Chris

Awsome Idea.

Got a couple laying around, if I cleaned my guns, I'd give it a try.

Your poor....

..guns AL! Maybe you could sneak them in the dishwasher some night, put a little Hoppe's in the soap dispenser and some of that magic rinse that eliminates streaking and the next morning they would all be nice and sparkly! Chris

Dishwasher safe

In the early 70s My brother and I bought two of the early modle Ruger Super Stainless Steal 22s. At that time my Mom was the only one who had a dishwasher. Yes we took off the grips, Pulled the cylider pin and laid our filthy revolvers in the lower rack. Unfortunitly it didn't get finished before Mom caught us. After they ran through the drying cycle they were as clean as the day we bought them. We added a little oil where needed and continued shooting. What Mom said is another story.

Clean guns

Great story Ridge Runner! All I have to do now is convince Al he needs to clean his guns every 10,000 rounds or so! Chris

P.S. Had to edit the 10,000 but maybe it should be 50,000? Chris
