Hi all,
I was lucky enough to purchase Elmer's Winchester 52 match rifle built by Paul R. Dodge of Yreka,Calif.
I talked to Ted about this rifle and he recalls shooting it back on the ranch in the 1940's and said that Elmer use to shoot turkeys with it and his Sharps rifle.
I have heard that Elmer wrote about the details of this rifle in the American rifle magazine sometime in the 1930's. Does anybody have any info on which issue or any other information on this rifle.
Thanks,
Roger

Hi Roger. I passed up a 52 a long time back and have always regretted it. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for bolt action .22 rifles since my first rifle was a Sears bolt action 22 (Marlin manufacture, I'm pretty sure). I hope your rifle shoots as good now as it ever did. Chris S
