Elmer's Safari CD Set

After being away for sometime,  I noticed when I came back the CD set with Elmer on Safari in Tanzania.  After listening to the  "Teaser"...aka "sample",  I knew I had to have a copy.
They came in the mail yesterday and I wasn't disappointed!  Listening to Elmer & his guides and friends as they were hunting and shooting fascinated me.    There's one part where their actually shooting.   The stories of their hunting exploits and getting drunk together was something to hear.
I always wondered what Elmer's voice sounded like!       Boy,  Now if some  film footage  could be found!!
Definitely money well spent!!!!!

Right On

I have listened to the cd's three or four times now and always hear something I missed before. I often wonder what it would have been like sitting around with those guys listening to all the stories and these are about as close as I will get. Chris (3755)
P.S. Chris, I guess I will have to sign my full title so we aren't confused.

Yes  Sir,

I thought about them sitting around the campfire also!!!   I'm sure there's film and can you imagine if a DVD was released!!!!!! WOW!!!!!
And I've listen to them twice and heard different things also.  Really neat!!

Elmers 470

This is Elmers 470. It belongs to a gentleman who knew Elmer, and owns several of his guns. It is shown with Hemmingways 577. Elmers is the one on top,(He states it has better wood.) It just took an Elephant in Botswana. And a Cape Buff.

glad to see you still here. Not much activity. I will see what I can do to help get this back up and running, better than ever. I have been ill for some time, and my computer was down. I just connected with a cell phone type connection. I will see how well it works.

Sorry to hear you were ailing, hope you are better now and I usually check each day but don't do much on here if nobody else is on. I just keep putting my tales in that topic and leave it at that. Maybe we need to pep it up now that winter is setting in and more readers will be checking in. Chris
