Old and New

When I was a kid way back when, every boy had a B-B gun, or at least it seemed that way. These guns were not usually store bought but rather hand me downs from brothers or dads or uncles. My first Daisy was a relic pieced together from several other wrecks. Later I moved up to a better one and so on. I have never given up my B-B guns, even today, as I still have 3 or 4 around. It is fun to get out and plink away for awhile and remember the "good ole days". This brings me to my latest acquisition, my Marlin 45-70. Along side my old Daisy it looks massive but the Daisy can hold it's own anytime. I call this my old lever action and my new one. Chris
Sorry Al, don't know what's gong on, if it's my computer or what. Chris
I tried again it seems to x the pic out. Am I doing something here or is the image going through to your end?
When I upload it shows it all in the text but it seems to block pic somewhere.
Found it!! I am a geek! lost it somewhere in the brouse but found it. I am so happy. Chris
I think I maybe tried to upload a file instead of a single picture. That could be the problem, right? Oh whatever it is a fun story! Chris
No idea what you are doing, if you are doing anything. Try to save your files with out all the spaces before you upload them, maybe? Quien Sabe?
Could be your IP and my server don't play well together during busy times. Seems like the files are getting marked with the wrong permissions.
Don't worry to much, it will ether get better or worse. PS nice Red Rider! How often do you clean it?
Al:I think it was just me uploading wrong, and I clean the Red Ryder only when it's had a good workout, and I make sure it gets a few drops of oil down the spout to keep that old leather washer in good shape. I bet you wish you had one! Chris
Found one behind the seat of a pickup I bought about 20 years ago, not in servicable condition.
The guy who runs the sportshop I used to go to found his old one on the side of the road in a garbage can. Someone had cleaned out their garage and tossed it. He simply oiled it up and it actually shot. He hung it on the wall as a display. Shame to waste it like that. I would shoot it if it were mine. Chris
