I'm not on the computer all that much.  I appreciate the welcome to the site.
Can you tell me when & where the Elmer Keith Shoot will be for 2014..?
I'm guessing it will have a lot of long distance shooting...
Being old, I run into some trouble trying to navigate thru these sites..
I have been to the Elmer Keith Museum in Cabela's in Boise and in the early 90's I did make a run to Salmon , Idaho and saw a small display of some of his stuff in the Library (I think)...
I love reading his books and reloading.  I do Cowboy Action Shoots half a dozen times or more each year.  I have both of my Grandsons involved in Cowboy shooting and it is fun to watch them.  I belong to a Cowboy Action group known as the  THE HAMMER CLAN.....

And yes, targets from 150 to 600 yards depending on conditions. If it's wet and muddy we may not set up the 600 yard, but the 150 and 200 yard steel is up rain or shine. Lots of practicing goes on before the scored rounds, and a big tent,  good food and friends make for the perfect day.

I live 20 miles from VANTAGE, WA near Priest Dam.....
I have to go in for rotator cuff surgery very soon...I get the MRI on the 7th in Kennewick to find out exactly what they have in mind....
