AL, I figure it's been pretty quiet here lately so everyone must be on vacation enjoying the heatwave. Maybe we should have a topic for spinning yarns or tall tales. Just kidding. Chris

Neat Al. I live not far from Lake Michigan, well actually a bay that is an inlet off the main lake, Green Bay, not the town but the bay. I guess everyone else is there to. Never did find out what shotgun Elmer liked. Guess he used whatever was at hand when he needed one. Chris

Al: I just ordered Shotguns by Keith and one called Letters from Elmer Keith which is supposed to be a collection of Elmer's correspondence from around the country compiled into book form, we'll see if its any good. Chris

That's one I plan to add to my small collection one day. Letters sound interesting as well.

Keith Book

AL: Received my "Shotguns by Keith" book, it is a 1995 reprint with leather cover and binding and gilt edge pages, fancy edition from some series I assume. Got it for $30.00 ship included in that price. Looks like very fine reading. Chris

PS: Letters book am reading now, lots of interesting letters cover stuff,including stuff he sometimes wrote about in articles and more.
