Sixguns

      Been shooting a KIRST .45Colt conversion cylinder in my r.o.a. for several years.... w231 and of late   6grains of TiteGroup behind a 255rnfp home cast .
 (I scored a 4 pound jug of titegroup) from local CABELAS...
  cylinder I chose was  stainless as I on rare occasion shoot b.p. in the 45 cases.
   Again     money well spent.   
as a side note,the roa in .45   shoots as well as my omsbh shooting  .44 specials.

I am thinking of getting the Master 
Revolver package done to the gun while it is home.
Any one have experience with this?

Howdy, I have not posted in a while,  but I wanted to garner the opinion of members here. I have been shooting a lot of double action lately (SW 60-15 and Colt 357 and GP 100)-- then dusted off my peacemaker clone. Is it fair to say that single actions handle felt recoil better than DA's in equivalent calibers and loads in similar weight guns? Seems that way to me.

does anyone know of a leather holster for this Ruger single six hunter I cannot find a holster for the hunter because it has a seven and a half inch barrel

You can read on line that the 629-6 is not as strong as the Redhawk or Super Redhawk.  I have never had a problem with my 629.  I do not push it to the max.  How strong are these things?

I have an Alaskan in 454.  I have had it a long time since about 2006.  Recently I was shooting some factory Hornady 240 grain 454 ammo and the crimp did not hold on the bullet.  I know the recoil can be stiff with the 454 but that was the first time I have experienced this..   Just wondering if anyone else had the same issue.   This has not happened with any of the hot 45 Colt loads that I have used in the gun.

I am wondering if there are many fans of the .41 Mag. 
I think it's a better cartridge than given credit for.
