My "new" Colt SAA and introduction
Submitted by crockett007 on Thu, 01/08/2015 - 11:16Just Had To Do It!
Submitted by Chris3755 on Sat, 10/04/2014 - 15:45I was having a devil of a time trying to get these old eyes to adjust to the old bent blade on my .22 Scout to get windage right by guess and decided to hell with collectability! I dovetailed a new front sight and now can adjust windage to get those shots where I want them to go. Took a bit of calculating to get the right height for the insert but it is done. All you Colt lovers don't hate me! Chris S
Chig Grips and new GP 100
Submitted by cowdog on Mon, 08/11/2014 - 09:12Just want to get a plug in for the fellow that made the grips for my new GP100. The factory Hogue grips Ruger now uses are ugly and awkward. Chigs sell both old style rubber grip and custom inserts in about any kind of wood. This set is fiddleback maple. They are almost too pretty for a work gun! Between the blue and the stocks and my every day use, I think it will get some scratches and wear, but I wanted a blued gun because too many new revolvers are stainless, and I like blue. I did not but this one to fondle-bought it to shoot a lot!
Bisley Colt, 7 1/2" barrel

New S&W
Submitted by Mak on Wed, 05/21/2014 - 18:22I'm not usually one for new guns, but there is one new gun that does intrigue me, the new S&W "69".
Apparently, this is the mid size frame, same as the 586/686 series, set up with a 5 shot cylinder in .44 caliber. I've checked out my fave gun emporium hoping to glimpse one, with no success.
Now, why am I interested in this little number? Because I actually do pack a sidearm for some of my endeavors in this life, and the idea of a more compact and handy frame size, with true .44 capability, is doggone interesting!
Posting photos.....

My newest family protection device
Submitted by badguybuster on Fri, 03/14/2014 - 18:54A s&w 629-8, 44 mag, with a 4" barrel. It seems to be in fantastic condition. Previous owner said it had less than 150 rds through it. It came with 200 rds of ammo, a holster, and an ammo pouch. I traded a Sig 2022 40 s&w plus an H&R single shot 45-70.
Inherited Clot SAA
Submitted by lucky on Sat, 03/08/2014 - 08:27I recently inherited a Colt Single action army, it appears to have been restored at some point in its life as there are some signs of pitting and there are no markings on the barrel. Also the date area is very faint but can be read with a magnifying glass. The serial number is 130730, there is some pitting in the barrel but in my opinion still safe to shoot. I would like to know if there is a value as a collector piece? I can upload pictures if anyone is interested.
